Somewhere between what you're good at, what you enjoy doing and what someone else needs is an opportunity. VETTED is designed to help teens find it.
Maybe you already know exactly what you could offer.
Maybe you don't.
VETTED encourages students to think creatively about their talents, interests and experience — and turn those things into real opportunities to earn, learn and grow.
You might already have something people will pay you for.
You don't need to wait for someone to give you a traditional part-time job. Think about what you're already good at.
That could be your opportunity.
Tell us.

VETTED isn't an open directory where anyone can create a profile and start offering services. Every student completes all four of these steps before they are accepted.
The student applies and tells us what they're good at, what they enjoy and what they could offer.
A parent or guardian sends their recommendation to VETTED directly. We confirm it with them by phone or email.
A teacher sends their recommendation to VETTED directly. We confirm it with them by phone or email.
The student sits down for an interview with the VETTED team before anything is approved.
Students must complete the VETTED review process before entering the network.
Being accepted to VETTED does not mean a student can automatically offer any service they choose. A student who wants to offer tutoring, golf lessons, babysitting, sports training or another service must explain why they are qualified to do it. That specific offer is then reviewed separately.
Those four steps are the entire review process. We publish them because a promise you can't check isn't worth much.
VETTED introduces families to students. We don't run criminal background checks, and we aren't present for the work itself. Hiring decisions stay with the family.
A match is an introduction, not a commitment. Talk to the student first — you're never obligated to hire anyone.
Start with VETTED.
Instead of texting friends, posting in groups or trying to figure out which teenager might be available, VETTED brings trusted local student talent into one private network.
We match you. You talk. You decide — there's never any obligation to hire.
Get Access When We Launch →Student profiles will not be openly searchable on the public internet. The public website can showcase examples and limited previews.
Detailed student information, profiles, availability and member-only opportunities will remain inside the private VETTED network.
VETTED is being created by a Lake Oconee family with three teenagers at the center of the idea. They saw an opportunity.
Teenagers have talents, interests and ideas — but often don't know how to turn them into real-world opportunities. Families constantly need trustworthy help. Businesses and organizations have jobs, internships, service opportunities and experience to offer.
VETTED connects the dots.
It gives teens a place to explore what they're good at, get creative, learn how to present themselves and potentially turn something they love into something they can earn from.
And it gives local families access to a completely new pool of talent, ideas and help.
It starts at Lake Oconee. More to come.
